Default Rear LCA bushing

Ok I've had a set of GSR lcas laying around for a while and decided to attempt to burnout the bushing(it was rotting anyways). I got everything removed except the metal sleeve around the rubber. I've tried sawing & chiseling the thing out with no luck. I just want to through the new ES ones in there so I can run a rear swaybar finally, but these sleeves are a pain in the ***.

Are you sure the sleeves need to be pushed out? Some of the ES bushings just require the removal of the rubber, and then the poly bushing presses inside the remaining sleeve.

If the sleeve must come out, here is what you can do:

-Insert a hacksaw blade through the bushing hole (where you burnt the rubber out)
-Attach your hacksaw to the blade
-Cut your way through one spot on the sleeve so it is no longer a complete ring
-Chissle ring out starting from your cut
-The ring should fold up at the cut & eventually come out
-Be carful not to damage the LCA

all but the trailing arm bushing, the sleeve needs to come out. your method is the usual method.

i would have prefered to push the whole bushing out complete.
