Default anybody interested in pre-bent aluminum pieces for cells brackets plenums etc.

hey guys, new to honda tech... im a vw guy (true hater hahaha)

i frequent the fab forums on h-t but this is my first post

if any of you are interested in custom sized fluid cells, battery boxes, plenums, whatever...let me know
...i supply the metal and do the bending, but leave all the welding to you

i have a cnc folding brake at work capable of bending up to 1/8" alum.

some examples...
water res..

rad support...

batt box...(already welded...bad example)

dual-plenum intake manifold...

heres one i just finish, my buddy rich did the welding...

ill take any ideas into consideration.... but some things are impossible and/or beyond the capabilities of the machine... just send me a pm and ill let you know whether i can make what you want or not

Hey Jazzpur, just FYI, I think you need to be a sponsor to "advertise" your products in this forum. You might want to PM a moderator and explain to them you're just trying to be a resource for people or something. Anyway, nice work.

I think this is a good idea for anyone trying to make their own intake manifold, I cant think of one local place that bends alu. for people. (Machine shop locals packed up and moved their basement was bigger then their house!)

THREE THINGS

1)
i had a couple people ask me about that manifold.... the concept behind it is to equalize intake runner veloicty...reguardless of each runners distance from the TB

the first plenum serves as an air distributer....it tapers to increase velocity towards the end...but the even gap all the way down the length of the manifold causes the air to "distibute" evenly

since the cross-sectional area of the gap is 110% of the cross-sectional area of the TB it does not cause an intake flow restriction like it seems it would
....the upper plenum which is sized to 2.5l provides an ample amount of air for the cylinders on intake stroke... the only difference now is that the upper plenum is now being fed new intake air evenly across the entire lenght of the manifold rather than from one side as with a standard manifold

this is known as a lehmann design
...popular in le mans and rally configurations

2) to those of you sending me PM's, i cant respond to them...im not allowed since im a noob (email me)

3)how do i get in touch with a moderator in order to advertise?

thanks for the propks guys
