I want to start another mustang project so I might need to sell my cougar so I can get a good start at it. Im planning on getting a old fox body, put either a 331 or 351 in it and then a 150-200 shot. I already have places where I can buy everything I need, I just need money to start it up.
I have a 99 mercury cougar with a svt 3.0L swap. The engine is from a '04 Ford Escape motor with svt cams, oval port heads, 70mm tb, cai, flowmaster exhaust, Roush side skirts and Min garage front bumper, recently replaced breaks and tires, about 1k miles on everything. The car is a five speed with a stage 2 clutch, pioneer stereo, all after market speakers, after market head lights, and side marker lights. Im going to use the exact same pics as the previous owner used since I don't have a digi as good as his.
The car needs to be tuned. It is running the 70mm tb with 24# Injectors so its running rich. The CEL is on because of this. Once tuned it will all go away. Once tuned the car should make around 220whp and 200wtq and run a traction limited low 14.
I just replaced the headers with new stock ones and was going to get a high flow cat, y pipe and dual exhaust cat back but then I realized I've had this car for a while now, and thats not like me. So then I started thinking about what I want to do. And then I found out I can get a hell of a deal on a 351 and evne more on a 331. So now I just want to move on to something new. Here are some pictures.

Ok thats enough I think. Thank 10ktgold for all of them. Can I host videos on this website? Because video would make you hear the 3.0L. Now that its fixed the engine sounds between a 350Z and a supra. VERY deep sound.
Just Throw out offers if anyone wants it. I will entertain any offers. Car, car + cash, motorcycle, motorcycle + cash, all cash, straight trade, Hell I'll even trade you for a school bus if it has less than 100,000 miles. Thanks for checking out my car.

The motor is a '04 ford escape motor with svt parts. More comonly refered to as a 3.0L hybrid or 3.0L svt motor. It has oval port heads, and svt cams. It basically moves the power band from the escapes 3-4k range up to 6k for more peak power but it does lose a little torque doing so.

Yes basically. Just like a a turbo ls/vtec is just a b18 with a b16 head and a turbo. Its easier just saying ls/vtec or 3.0L svt motor.
