* PLEASE HELP * question about crank pulley

i have a 99 civic dx d16y7 1.6L, and a buddy of mine has a 88-91 honda civic 1.6L racing crank pulley ( NEW ). Now the Question??? is would the 88-91 fit on the 96-00 civic motor?

If the motor it's intended for is a D16, then i guess. I don't know which parts in particular are compatible between D16's. Maybe sum1 will know 4 sure.
