Default Stock OEM flywheel 92-93 and 94-96 different??

i went to order a new stock flywheel for my 92 si on hondaautomotiveparts.com and i noticed that the 94-96 stock oem flywheel is 100 dollars more than the 92-93. Is there a difference between the two? does one have more material than the other or is one more heavy duty?

Just wondering cause i thought they were all the same.

Hmmm. That's a good question. It may be true that they weigh a different amount. The mechanic who installed my clutch and flywheel told me he weighed my stock flywheel after removal and said it was "exactly 20 lbs". I have heard other Prelude owners say they thought it weighed 22 lbs. The 93 Prelude VTEC could possibly have the 22 lb flywheel, if there are indeed differences in flywheel weight between the years. That's my best guess right there. But, I would think Honda would have used the same flywheel between all 93-96 VTEC Preludes.

Or, maybe the price differences is that the "92-93" flywheel that is $100 cheaper is actually an H23A stock flywheel and the 94-96 flywheel could be an H22A1 flywheel??
