Default Intermittant hummm somtimes

iv talked a few teg owners and they hear it somtimes

like say when i get home i turn the car off, get out get somthing out of the trunk
ill hear a hummmm for like 3-4 seconds

or ill be changing the oil and ill hear it or ill be working on the car and ill hear it

car can be warm from just drivning or have been sitting for hours

nothing broken sounding, sounds like it might be the fuel pump testing or somthing

does anybody know

o and my R does it and my 95 gsr did it, i cant remember if my 91 gs did it, but iv talked to two other dc owners and theres does it also

are you talking about the infamous abs pump? the noise that you're hearing is the ABS modulator pressurizing itself.

lots of teg owners have that problem (me included )

i take it you aren't throwing any abs codes...?

No your not hearing things, mine does it too. Sometimes it'll be sitting for quite a while & I'll get something out of the car, shut the door &, hhhuuummmmm. yea, I've wondered what it was also. Maybe it's the R's mating call. I had to say that. LOL!
