std w/ si cluster direct swap
like the topic says i have a 91 std hatch an wanna swap in a 91 si cluster is it a direct swap or is there some wiring that i have to do. i tried to swap clusters and there was still one plug that had nowhere to go an the rpm gauge did'nt work. if someone has a wiring diagram that would be great also

yep piece of cake
yep piece of cake
what about the blue plug on the back of the std cluster there is nowhere to plug that one up to the si cluster do i just leave that one off and what does it go to. thanks for all the help.
everything plugs into something, i had the same issue last summer when i purchased a 91 si gauge cluster off ebay, there are 4 total plug ins, thers the vss cable, a big ******* clip that kinda goes in sideways, and 2 smaller little clips that go in. i did mine in like 10 minutes after taking the thing apart (im afraid of wiring), started it up and everything worked fine. only problem with the gauge clusters is the milage will be different then your actual engine milage. but ya..... if i can do it, YOU can do it my friend.

Lol...
Lol...
i think the problem is that the cluster might be from a 88-89 si aren't the 90-91 different than the 88-91. The gauge cluster holes that i have don't line up with the brackets that are in the car already or do i have to change those out to.
