Use the search button! Search Appearance/Cosmetic forum.

There are tons of Civics with 17s on 'em. I have 17s on mine with Neuspeed Race springs.

rolling on 17s on s-techs
Race springs didn't work for me because I was too tucked in (with no camber kit), but the springs were off an integra platform.
So yeah, 17s are fine

whether or not it will rub depends on offset of the wheel and tire size chosen. if you ever do any racing you can forget about hooking up if you go with a low profile tire. i would run a nice 15 or 16 with some decent sized tires. ie 205/50/15 or 215/45/16.

I have run 17s on my EG before with Nuespeed race springs and non-adjustable KYB gas shocks and I have to say that running my little 13s on stock shocks with Omin-power handle and ride MUCH better. Unless you can get a very lightweight 17 they will not handle very well. I am actually trying to sell a set of ADR sokudo 17s that I have or trade for Rotas or even HXs. Go small and lightweight and you will be faster with a better ride.

As has been said, rubbing issues are dealt with by offset, not overal rim size.

Bigger rims with lower profile tires look cool and are arguably better for cornering (firmer sidewalls) but it also increases unspring weight and makes your car more sensitive to bumps in the road.

just want it not to rub anymore than it already does. my **** rides like a tank w/ koni yellows / h&r race springs. handles awesome but i feel every hairline crack/ rock on the ground. flat surfaces <3... anyhow, what offset should i be at?

i had konig rhythm 18's on my hatch.. for like a week... they rubbed but barely, only when id hit bumps that were a decent size, so if your using stock suspension, id say yea, 17's would work... but youll notice a big dieferece in braking power

Of course stickier tires will help with braking power as well. I think 17s are too much for these cars, if you look at every civic race car no matter the series (except drag), they are running no bigger than 15s. 17s look cool, but a nice set of rotas or the like is cool too.

I had 17's on my lowered hatch. They rubbed in the rear at first, I had to adjust the camber to tuck them in enough that they didn't rub/hit. Also, they're not a very comfortable ride. I sold them and went back to my 15's. They seem to handle a lot better for me. And 15" tires are cheaper than 17" too!!

well... i drive a del sol and my ride quality is pretty crappy because of the targa clunking. i'm also gutted with race suspension and you can hear my car flex and clunk outside of the vehicle. lol

my shocks are not bottoming out though beacuse my tires will hit my fender well area before my shocks bottom. i think this is the clunking i'm hearing also from the rear because i'm almost at 0 camber on my rear. either that or my coils for my springs are touching.

but yea, i'm just waiting on the dude to respond for me on the wheels.

LoL. i will not buy something over 200$ online due to the fraudulent activity that goes on on this site... thanks for the offer though ^^. by the way, ever think about if you were to sell those to somebody and that person finds out those are fake after paying 1000$ for them? there are some people that would fly over to your house and murder you and your mother.
