I have a piece of **** compaq laptop that took a **** on me and I have to send it into service after 6 months of owning it. I need someone computer savvy to remove my hard drive and try and retrieve the data and put it back in before i send it in. They told me that they are going to erase everything and wont try and save it for me. on a side note.....

DO NOT EVER BUY A COMPAQ OR HP PRODUCT EVER! they have the worst customer service and product support ive ever experienced. I will be buying a ibook in the near future. PM me for details if you can do this
