Default d15b vtec ecu wireing for my 92 civic dx

Hi,
I recently bought a d15b jdm engine for my 92 civic dx and I would like to know how do I install my ecu. Is it like plug and play installation for the vtec to work properly or I need to know some stuff. Can someone please help me out with this or has a website that tells what I need to do. Thx

you need to convert your p06 non-vtec ECU to a VTEC ecu.. check out pgmfi.org... go under ecu hardware mods and you will see the section about non-vtec to vtec conversion....

besides that you will need to run a wire from the ECU to the vtec solenoid on your engine

Ok but the vtec ecu came with the motor. So what do I need to do from there. I've read somewhere that the 92 civic allready have the vtec wireing.

just plug your new ecu in bolt it up. wired for vtec from the ecu to the shock tower harness, you have to add them from the shock tower to the motor, or get a vtec engine harness.
