Default Non SI Trunk Lid

Would like an answer to:

Inside of the trunk lid of non SI's...Is the trunk lip held in by screws or clips? Pics would be nice, but a simple answer will suffice.

Why? I'm shaving the holes from my SI wing and was thinking about leaving it wingless, or adding the lip that come on the non SI's.

Comments? Opinions? Or flame away

Thanks in advance peeps.

" I'm shaving the holes from my SI wing..."

Translation : I am welding up the holes, grinding it down, repainting the trunk lid. Going wingless. My question is how is the trunk lip on the non SI model installed? Would i need to redrill new holes?

Why not just trade trunks with someone?

I wish all those that wanted to trade are local. Be easier than having to deal with shipping.

Yeah, the VIN tags...i was thinking the same thing. I'll probably just shave the trunk as planned. I know you can buy the lip prepainted...so thats a bonus.

So busy at the shop...i'll probably wont get to it for a while anyways.

Thanks SeanJohn, let me know what you find out.
