Default "Rotating machine" for better welds?

I´m not sure if this is the right english word, but do you have pics of "rotating machines"? - Such machine where you put something on and it rotates on its own so that you just need to weld?

I saw such a machine here in Germany in a welding company but it was a gigant machine. I´m searching for a small one?

Thanks

Something like this?

If so, the manual versions are called a rotary table. The ones with an electric motor are called turn tables. You can buy them in various sizes on ebay.

I have seen a differential shop use a rotating machine when it welds the end plates on its diff housing's. It was just a home made machine and did the job fine.

i've used one before for production MIG welding, and it was great. but i don't see how it would be nearly as useful in one-off TIGing.

pipe rollers and rotary tables are great for production mig stick, a lot more difficult with tig, better off to just do it in position or stop & rotate, get really good at your tie-in's and nobody will ever notice it wasn't rolled.

if you could control the speed of the table with yet ANOTHER pedal...you might be onto something.

Or the rotation could just be adjustable through a ****, sort of like the turn table people use to work with clay.

They call this a rotab , I work in the aerospace industry and they do use a pedal to control the rotation of the assembly you are making and also variable speed adjustments. Argon is also fed into this rotating table and makes your work look a lot cleaner
