Default Car wont start after sitting for 2 weeks

I was on vacatiion for 2 weeks and didnt do anything special with the car. The alarm doesnt seem to work well and some features arent working. It did come with a backup battery. My lights wont turn on, but the dome light works. Can it be the main battery? and maybe the backup is going out also?

Definitely sounds like the battery. I for one know that if I let my car sit for more than a week, my battery goes dead .

Might have a slow draw somewhere, open ground maybe. The battery is fine, it just over the course of a few days it's drawn power until it's dead.

um, duh, an alarm is a slow draw...........of course it will drain the battery over a week or two, its probably fine, drive it around with no accesories on for a little while, if it persists then get it tested at said pep boys.......
