Stripped the valvecover today for a repaint....not really sure what color i want to go with. I've been thinking of polishing it...or just a flat, textured black.
Opinions are welcome and appreciated.

I would polish it, if you plan on polishing other parts in the future (intake, block, dizzy, everything). Otherwise it makes all the non-polished stuff look that much dirtier.
If not i'd go with black... though i'm not a fan of the wrinkle.
Oh and i'd put the radiator cap back on too.
