I slipped the clutch, just like I normally would. Rpm's were anywhere from 1k-1.5k. I was pulling out of the garage.

I'll get pic's on monday morning.

Rebuilt stock d16y7 in an EG hatch. I'm assuming my the reason it broke was because it was too short???

When we put the axle in the boots were a bit tighter then normal but nothing too bad. The axle was clipped in and the spindle nut was tight and torqued

sounds to me like they were separated before you put them in. how did you remove them?if the joint is separated the boot will be tighter and as soon as you put some force on them it will let go completely. let us know how you removed them

that sucks. your homie gave you some faulty parts. but next time just check and see if all the joints are still intact before installing., looks like the clip for the boot came loose and everything just came out

$60 autozone w/ lifetime warranty

btw, I think I found the problem

The driver side caliper was stuck open. The hub/wheel was locked.

Could this be the problem?
