I've got a 6th gen v6 and just got some kumho 712's (215/55/zr16)
and now I'm wanting to 1st get either lowering springs, or upper tie bars
(either eibach or AEM). just would appreciate some imput..

aem does not make tie bars,
obx all of them and springs

 

Most people usually do springs and shocks first. That's a good idea.

Tokico does suck. Koni or Bilstein. KYB is good for the price.

 

the tockicos were cheap when i first got them, and are long gone by now, koni yellows will be next...

are there different versions of the Koni yellows or Koni Sports, whatever you wanna call them, or is there just one version of the yellows? and are all koni shocks adjustable?

 

koni reds are non-adjustable me thinks,

 

Reds are good OE replacements... that's about it...

 

idunno about 6th gens, but for 5th gens, koni yellows had 3 way adjustable perches, and the neuspeed koni yellows were 5 way adjustable.
