Default How much u think i'd have to spend for ls powered EG?

The first civic I bought had a b18b installed by the previous owner. But this is what happened to it.

The insurance company said it was totalled, gave me 4500 and i sold the car for a grand(really made out on that one didn't i ) So i bought this.

Then for some reason I thoght I wanted a truck and i got this.

expletive you DODGE!!! Stupid piece of crap truck breaks all the time.
So now I want another civic again. Probably not going to get another SI like the past 2, but I wanted go get a cheap shell and drop in another b18b. I don't think it should be too hard. But what do you think I will probably end up spending. I was thinking $500-$1000 for a shell and another $1500 tops for the engine and tranny. I don't care about interior and **** like that. I just want a cheap fun car to drive while in college. So that looks like $2500 I'll spend at most. Does that sound about right. Oh yeah, USDM only engine. Eaiser to be legit then a JDM engine.

IDK....YOU can get a ls swap for like 700ish for like a 98...clean shell is like 1000.....so if you install ur self you should be in the 2k range......easy swap also

Yea, get a shell for under 1g, then the swap shouldn't be more than 1000-1200 after it's all said and done right. Make sure you get a b16 tranny with the LS if you want to make it faster.
