Hey guys,

I was thinking about selling my rather stock B18B civic and saving up for a 1997 Acura 2.2CL and "pimp" it out.

With all the attention, I'm no longer trying to associate myself with street racers - even though the majority of us do not. I'm located in Ottawa Canada, a city that isn't too large and packed with idiot ricers who ruin it for the rest of us.

I had regrets yesterday about the idea of selling the car. It's compact, drives well and I personally just like it, and see pretty good potential in it.

What do you think I should do - other than keep the civic and boosting it! :-)

bud of mine has a 2.2 CL and pimped it out rathe rmildly, ended up keeping it too since they cant sell it for ****, so he also bought a WRX and loves that much more.
wifey has the CL, he has the WRX, life is good.

I'd take a WRX over a Cl anyday if given the choice... but if budget is in mind and you like the Cl go for it, they are super comfy.

WEll I'd take a WRX over a 2.2cl yes, but it's not nearly the same price.

I like the CL because of its look, the slanted back and the fact its an entry level luxury car. I'm looking at one with the premium package (leather, power everything, AC, etc.)

I'm a graphics designer, and I believe it would be to my advtange to have a car that's a bit more serious when I meet customers. Not that civics aren't, but when I drive away they don't hear my exhaust and what not.
