Default EK dx hatch- how do i remove engine harness from car to pull engine

i'm trying to pull the engine and it seems that i have to undo every single connector from the engine as the "engine harness" appears to run throught the firewall. Well i've spent hours trying to undo every bloody connector and there always seems to be more. this can't be right

With the eg's i'd just unplug a few connectors on either side of the bay and leave the 'engine harness" with the engine

well thanks anyway but i got it. The stupid harness has to be completely removed from the engine to pull the engine out. I finally gave up on the last few connectors at the back and pulled the intake manifold to get to them. what a nuisance.

Its all back together now except for the intake mani, as i'm waiting for the gasket. say no to ek's haha

All you had to do was unhook it from the computer and pull the whole shebang through the firewall.

well, it's nice to know now for next time, i guess that that was the way to do it. Its hard to believe that the "in car" wiring is that simple.

I saw the wiring dissapear behind the battery tray and i said forget it.
