Default 205 vs 215?

I will be picking up a 2000 ITR hopefully soon. I know stock wheels are 195 55 15. Equivalent 17" would be 205 40 17. Currently on the car is 215 45 17. Do anyone of you have 205 over 215 and why (beside matching) radius etc.

Thanks

205/40-17 is perfect. The outer diameter is exactly the same as stock, a lot of tires are available in that size, and they won't rub.

205/40-17
