I AM ABOUT TO PUT A B20 IN TO MY 92 HATCH AND I NEED TO FIND OUT WAT KIND OF ECU I SHOULD USE
P30
P28 OR ETC. WHAT IS THE DIFF. BETWEEN THEM ALL AND WHICH IS THE BEST FOR MY SWAP AND I AM GOIN TO MAKE IT B20 VTEC A LIL AFTER

HELP ME OUT

it's been said that an Integra P75 ECU will work with the B20.

B20/vtec, i would guess a chipped P28 ECU is best for that.

try using the <FONT COLOR="red"><u>Search</u></FONT> function. Archived content "B20 ECU"

Doesnt really matter between p28 and p30 ,,both will need to be chipped with different fuel and timing maps anyway to run the 2.0L vtec correctly..But I would go with the p28 just for the fact that they seem to be for sale everywhere..

Well for now a (P75) Ls ecu will do meanin cuz its no vtec same as a b20 no vtec if wanna chip even betta BUT if u doin B20vtec afta u can run any Vtec ecu for the moment until u can chip but it will be betta to chip a P28 n u set to go

As far as features. (chipped ECU)

P05 = base ECU
P06/P75 = P05 + O2 heater control
P28 = P06 + VTEC control
P30 = P28 + knock sensor
P72 = P30 + IAB control

there are several other OBD1 ECUs out there but these are the easiest to find ones.
You can make the decision as to which you need.

If you're staying with the B20, the P06 or P75 would be fine. If you plan on switching to B20/VTEC then the P28 or P30 would be best.
