ok so i just complete my clutch swap for a xtd stage 3 on my z6 .here my problem when im in 1st/rev it shake and then smooth out can this be cause by my pressure cause i got real tired and put enough pressure so i can get rolling or is it because of the stage

 

yeah, when i did teh stage 3 on mine, it sucked at first, takes some getting used to.

 

it jumps not shake

 

So basicly its slipping pretty violently?

 

Clutch chatter, did you break this in by dropping the clutch a few times at decent rpm, these need to be broken in this way.

what??? i have never heard anyone doing this, you are supposed to take it easy for 500 miles not go out and launch it...

im taking it easy utill my 500 miles so any one know the cause

its a 6-puck, there is your cause.

 

is it 6-puck-<U>sprung </U> or unsprung cause on the street unsprung is really shitty

Thats one option or you can do the "Quick" methode and drop it a few times and break it in quick,

does that have any negative effects?

 

yes, glazing the friction material on the clutch, scoring the flywheel, warping the flywheel. not a good idea to dump a brand new clutch, especially a 6puck. clutch chatter is normal until it breaks in, sure dumping it will make it quit chattering quicker, but not the brightest idea.

 

ITS SPRUNG SO ITS NORMAL AND MY STOCK FLYWHEEL IS SCORE A LITTLE WILL THAT AFFECT ANY THING CAUSE I DIDNT HAVE REAL TIME TO PUT ON MY JUN FLYWHEEL AND PLUS WAITING TO BUY THE BOLTS TOO BUT ILL DO A NEW CLUTCH WHEN A SCORE A LSD S20 THANKS FOR THE INFO ANYMORE
