Transmission Problem???
Here the deal. I have a 91 Honda Civic DX, I just tried to pull out of my house, and everything went fine until I got down the road a little and tried to go into 3rd gear from 2nd, and the car wouldnt engage into gear. I turned the car off and started it again, and it will go into every gear, but when I realease the clutch, the car wont move. It does this for every gear, someone please help me out?
Switches between the gears fine but as soon as you apply the clutch does it:
1. pop out of gear.
2. make whirling noises
3. make a grinding noise then pop out of gear
4. nothing

Okay. Like I press my clutch to the floor, shift into 1st gear (or any for that matter), and then press gas and release clutch and car just revs (like it would if you press the gas when you are in neutral and you just raise your RPM's) and the car does not move at all.

Maybe you should check your clutch cable to make sure that little pedal is actually trying to connect the engine to the transmission. I would pull the trans if that doesnt net any obvious clues.
