Default Front end pieces bent...what to do?

Alright, I have an 88 Sedan DX. The core support/hood latch part is bent to ****. Both sides of the headlight surrounds are bent so bad the headlights dont match up to the hood. I am sure the hood is the correct one, but it seems that the headlights are 2 inches below the hood line. I tried and tried to straighten these parts up with a hammer and a piece of wood.

Is there anyway, without welding tools, that I can get new parts for the front end??? Or am I SOL???

Also, whats the easiest way to remove the front bumper??

Thanks

I dont have a camera right this sec. I will see if I can get a disposable one and get the pics on a cd.

But the parts that are bent is pretty much the entire front end ahead of the fenders. The metal surrounds where the headlights bolt onto and the core support is in need of replacing. From what it looks like, I am going to have to drill the spot welds and replace it with a new part which would have to be welded on. Anyone else???

i'm completely no help on the other stuff you asked about...but holy **** i just, and i mean five minutes ago just, went through the same **** you're wondering how to do with the front bumper.

step one: unscrew the two screws on both of the bumper lights (turn signals)
step two: pull the lights forward
step three: twist out the light bulbs.
step four: get a 13mm socket and a socket wrench and locate the two 13mm bolts between each of the holes where the bumper lights were.
step five: you're ******* done.

i did all of this the retarded *** way and i feel like an idiot now. hopefully i helped out

good luck!

My bad, but I made this thread a few days ago.

Thanks for the help though. I am sure with everything bent up, it seems easier for you than I.

maybe so. my car wasn't that bad. i was involved in an accident Here's the link on friday, so today i took my front end apart to see if there was any frame damage or anything i couldn't tell. it was a pain in the *** the way i took everything off at first. then, when i saw how i COULD have done it i practically punched myself in the ***** i was so mad.

good luck to you though, nonetheless.

Yeah. Thanks.

Anyone else know if the front end, behind the bumper and around the headlights is a bolt on part?

it is held together with spot welds, you will have to drill them all out, to get new parts either go to a junkyard and get them or from honda or hondaautomotiveparts.com, you will want to order some of the bulkhead parts
