Question about CF Hood
recently, my moms s2000 got into an accident that involved hail. she had a lot of hail damage on her hood. i am talking my mom into getting a CF hood. she has really good taste, i showed her the Mugen/J's/OEM... she likes the Mugen/J's... now here is my question. is it a functional hood, i guess what i should ask is if it rains/sleets/snows or whatever, would water get into the vents? if someone could let me know, the sooner we can get that hood on her car...
thanks,
berry

the J's has optional covers to plug the vents, check out http://www.aj-racing.com
plugging the vent holes is stupid.. completely negates the true reason of getting a vented hood... especially since more then likely it'll end up weighing more then the stock hood...
plus if ur moms driving it and she parks it, i wonder if someone would be tempted to trash the hood to strip some engine parts...depends i guess how and where she drives, just hrowing that question out there

i have yet to hear of this happen to a S.
If its your mom's car and everything else is stock, just leave it that way

yeah, i was also thinking that she may just be better off leaving it stock now... she does not really take care of the car... i will run it by her again and let her decide if she wants the hood or not.

Freudian slip?
Stock car, stock hood.
If you're not going to be making use of a vented hood, don't bother buying it.
to a cool sounding mom....a cool looking mom would be even better
pics to back it up y0
