Camshaft VTEC killer TODA , how work?
i thought that they improves the VTEC as all camshaft aftermarket but looking the info about it , i did say it :
---------------
These are brand new, and still in the box. Includes both Intake and Exhaust camshafts, and all components necessary to remove VTEC.
----------------------
to remove vtec? so, if i put this cams , i'll not have VTEC?
, so, what improvemenst i will have ?
for one less valve train weight, and a lumpu idle like the ls's have when they have larger cams, since you eliminate the primary and secondary small lobes.

the vtec killer cams eliminate vtec. it is lighter with only 2 lobes and it allows for a larger lift because usually with secondary and primary, one lobe is smaller then the other and one is used during vtec. the elimination of the vtec lobe means that it needs a higher lift inorder to compensate for the loss of vtec. so its lift are large all through out. ive seen alot of turbos use vtec killer cams

its not that simple. vtec killer cams are usually used on more majorly built engines...and of those, most are turboed

as i stated earlier you will have a lumpy idle due to the elimination of the smaller lobes that vtec allowed to get a clean idle

crower 404's
i have them in my all motor b18b1 and they are awesome. but you have to upgrade the valvetrain to run them. and i went from taching out at 7400rpms to 8700rpms
. they rock

with the vtec killers, you'll have a really rought idle. The cams are also bullet drilled or hollow. So there's another way they're lighter. But no one will recommend using these cams unless you have an aftermarket valvetrain and a high compression motor.
crower is the brand 62404-2 is the number of the part for the stage three camshafts for the LS motor
