Default Can't Get Caliper Bracket Bolt Off

I need to get the rotor out. Do you guys normally remove the caliper bracket bolt out by hand? It says the bolt torque is 80 lb-ft in the Helms. It's in an awkward position bc it points away from you and there's not much room. I can't for the life of me get it out with my ratchet. Do I need an air ratchet? Most air ratchets only go to 50 lb-ft.

They'll usually go with a 1/2" breaker bar. Another way would put a wrench on it and pound the wrench with a hammer until it gives.

air rachet won't do more than you'll be able to turn, a gun yes, but not a rachet. Either use a bigger rachet for more leverage, a stronger person, or use wrenches and double them up to gain leverage.

Turn the steering wheel to give yourself more room, if you haven't done so yet. Try using a big hammer, or more leverage. A trick I sometimes used is actually using a car jack to turn a wrench. Just make sure you're turning the bolt the right way. I did that once the wrong way when i was first learning about cars.
