Default Trouble code 43 Fuel system (DTC 43)

Hey guys,
I just recently put a obdI p72 in my obdII gsr (92 hatch; which used to have a p28), and i'm getting a trouble code 43. Which is a fuel system problem. I have nothing wrong with my fuel system, and as far as i know the only after market part on the entire fuel system is the fuel pressure gauge.

Any one know why this DTC might shoot up?

Thanks.

So far this is what we've found that may cause this problem

02 sensor miss reading unburnt fuel
Fuel system (Fuel pressure)
Ignition
Week spark

anything else?

Fuel presure should be one of the first things you check for that code.

I've never seen a fuel pulse dampener cause a presure problem. The only bad ones i've seen caused an odd rumble/rattle noise.
