New wheel studs replacement without removing hub?
Ok guys I know this has been covered before but I cant seem to find a good thread with PICTURES on how to do it properly.
ANyways thing is I stripped a wheel stud and am in the process of replacing it, I managed to remove the old stud by cutting it off but am having trouble installing a new one in.
From what I read it is possible to install new ones in without removing the hub by grinding it but I cant seem to find any good picture to show HOW MUCH I need to grind off.
I've grinded one side flat on the "head" of the bolt but still cant seem to manage to stick it in, btw the new stud I got from honda is 34mm long.
I've also read threads of people saying that there is a "notch" or space on the hub where I can spin the stud to and hammer it out but I cant seem to find this at all!! Can someone please elaborate??!!
THanks!

A few years ago I broke a stud while taking my front wheels off on my EJ1. I tried for hours to find a place or opening to "hammer" the broken one out. I couldn't find one so finally I took it to a friend's shop and he used the special hub puller tool to pull the hub off. Its a bitch, I hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon.
Hope that helps,

Took me 3 seconds to find this one (search, "stud" in archived 92-00 civic/del sol forum [second one down]). Let me know if that helps...
