Default Ecu Chips

what are the maps that are good and or not so good, im gunna get mine chipped and need input...

so far i know im getting the non vtec to vtec chip, what else should i ask for?

*mods so far*
-exhaust
-intake

*mods getting in a month or so*
turbo, nothing over 8 psi for now though

for now you wanna chip your ecu with a stock map and when you put the turbo have another map burned and then tuned with uberdata or crome for less expensive...

buy this: http://www.moates.net/product_...id=42

and buy the electronic components for vtec, send me your ecu with those parts and i'll chip it with a basemap for $50... that includes shipping that stuff back to you in working condition.

agreed (civic_driver would be good too)

have him make you a D15b basemap with boost. It will run N/A just fine on the non-boost part of the maps. When you finially do boost it the maps will be there all ready. (IF you stick with the stock injectors that is, if you upgrade this will not work)

BTW OP: adding VTEC isn't just the chip, it requires parts to be added to the ECU to make it able to turn on the solinoid.

civic_driver ill let you know when i get the engine so ill send you my ecu.. most likely wouldnt be till may 24 or after, waitin till schools out.
