Default BRAKE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

My brother has a 92-95 civic dx with pads in the front and drums in the back. We were trying to bleed the brake system and when we pump the brake with no fittings loose the brake does not get hard at all. So we bleeded the brakes of the front driver and it was fine, but the rear passenger did not leak any air or fluid out at all. After 50 times of trying to bleed it still no fluid came out. We put a hose on the fitting and put the other end of the hose into a bucket of water to see if there were any air coming out and we pumped the brakes and no indications of air came out in the water. Same thing happened to driver side rear. We did the front passenger side and air bubbles came out, and after we bled it, it seemed fine. We tried driving the car and the brakes seem to not work at all. The brake petal is soft and it sinks all the way down when we step on it and the brakes don't bite. Does anyone know what's wrong with the car?

its possible your brake booster went out. Also check the Master Cylinder and Prop valve.

why did u bleed the brakes in the first place?
proper brake bleeding begins furthest from the master cylinder. RR-LR-RF-LF.

Well, my brother was driving and he said that when he pressed on the brake it suddenly felt soft and the car seemed to have trouble stopping. So we decided to bleed it just in case since it felt like there were air bubbles in the brake system.

Sounds like the MC.

I would stop at a light and with my foot on the break, it would slowly fade to the floor. You'd have to give it a pump or two and it would start over. Most likely the seals in the MC are going out. You can buy a new one or a Refurb one. I suggest getting a new one. Call Napa or Autozone. I think the are around 200. You can change it yourself if you're mechanically inclined. Just bench bleed the MC so you don't have to do the entire car.
