Default Koyo Radiator install NEED HELP!

Been trying to install this new koyo radiator in my 94 Accord with a SOHC . Having lots of clearence issues with the fan shroud hits the front motor mount the drain plug not clearing the front cross member. IM GOING CRAZY!

Are you sure you are getting the radiator in the right position?! There are two rubberer ends under the radiator, that were meant to sit properly to absorb some shock and keep it in place. If they don't fit properly, the radiator will be standing higher than it is supposed to.

You get the Koyo aluminum replacement? You sure if they gave your the right one for your application?

Yes it is the right radiator. Ive checked the koyo website and its the right part number.

are you bolting the fan shroud on the radiator before installing it?
You should remove the fans, install the radiator by it self first, then bolt the fan shroud on after.

^^^^ tried that. Basically what it is you need a slim fan to clear the motor mount on the passenger side of the engine bay. AAHHHRRRRRRR! Im ticked, koyo's website doesnt say anything about needing a slim fan. Ive checked all over cant find info anywhere. Im going to have to put my stock leaking radiator back in

Look for FAL fans. They make slim fans for our applications.

compare the new one to the old one. I have a 94 LX and there is a large gap between my rad and the rest of the engine even with the fan attached.

Yes, the Koyo radiators are thick.

You might have ordered the racing version of the Koyo? I know the race version is a bit thicker.

I had to notch my front crosmember to clear the drain plug. Not sure on fans, I'm running 3 slims. L8r
