front lip interchangability... 99-00 on 96-98?

hey guys

i found an awesome deal on a 99-00 mugen lip, but i have a 96-98 front end

i know it wont fit directly, but is there any way i can mod it to fit?

or is it out of the question?

I am pretty sure they are NOT interchangable, sorry dude. Where did you find this good deal?
