Just got back from ATL Meet (plus bonus review on Jag x-type sir)
Welp just rolled in about 2am. Had a fawking blast out there with you guys and hope to do it again. I'll post a complete review tomorrow, but i wanted to give you guys a little review on the Jaguar X-Type 3.0 V6 automatic while its still fresh in my mind.
- The car will light up the tires if you do a neutral drop at red line.
- Tranny starts having issues after 2 neutral drops.
- Watch the front clearense, it will hit parking curbs
- Car sounds nice with the mufflers removed
- There are no hangers on the b-pipe so phone cable works nicey nice
- Phone cable will only last 2 miles on freeway before droping the pipe and draging it down the road
- Do not, I repeat, Do not attempt to put the pipe back on with bear hands (blisters own)
- Leather starts to smelly funky after 2 days (could have been us, but we are not sure)
- Chicks dig jags (it could have been the APC belt pads or the disco ball, but we are not sure either)
- AWD drifting in a grassy field ownz
- The smoke smell goes away in a few minutes after smoke in it with the windows up
- It will roll a Mazda SUV by about 2 car lengths
- It will not roll an ITR
- The car tops out at an indicated 135 (held it at WOT for 5 min, it would not go any more)
- Car gets about 6.3 mpg at WOT at 135 mph
- Even thou it says you have 0 miles remaining, you can get a good 5 miles more out of it
- Car starts to have serious issues when running out of gas
- Push a jag sucks *** (thank god it was only about half a mile to gas station)
- You can open the gas door by prying it open with your key (fawker would not open)
- Manual says tank is 15 gallons, it really holds about 15.48 gallons
Stats on the trip
1705 miles total
20.5 mpg average
78 mph average
Also you can make it from daves house to mine in 2 and a half hours at 120mph if you have enough gas (I made it in just over 3 thanks to my little problem)
Welp thats about all i can think of now, need some sleep, full review on the meet tomorrow
PS Thanks to Pat for putting us up for 2 nights

Oh yeah, a few more review points...
-It will not shift to second if you move the shift lever to second if it'll cause a mechanically overrev
-It has a VERY annoying lock on the shifter when you get off the brakes.. brake/shift interlock suck
-It will not go into reverse or park at high speeds.
-It will roll a IS300 wagon giving an equal start and will keep up with one if it has the head start (vdo pending)
-The ebrake locks up the rears only, nicey nice for rally.
-You can not powerbrake it do spin the tires.
-The stereo sucks ***.
-The bpipe is strong and will not be dented after bouncing off the ground and car at 80mph or so.
-You can curb it some without bending the wheels.
-It has a pressure switch in the pass seat so if the seat belt is used and you lift your *** off the seat it disables the airbag.
-It was ~two weeks old when we got it...

The rental car agency must have had a blast trying to figure out how to get the burnt rubber/grass smell out of the car for the next customers.
