Hi, ive been noticing recently that when i turn on my integra, it starts kinda acting like it's suffocating and grasping for air, it turns over fine, but the engine itself wants to die, and i've been wondering why that might be, everytime i start the car it gets worse and worse, and today it took em about 5 tries to start it, after it starts up, i can start it up again, just the first few times it's really hard, i dont want this problem to get worse, anyone know what's going on?

 

I have a gsr/civic and its doing the same thing?anybody?

 

btw i forgot to mention i did an air intake therma mod on it, it started after that, and i took it out and it got worse

 

about the gasping for air. Ive been told that it could be plugs,wires, fuel filter, clogged cat, or maybe the injectors.

 

Yah im guessing it could be the fuel filter.. because sometimes when i accelerate it kinda hesitates

reset ecu and works fine now, thank you LAN, all i did was take out the ECU fuse for a few minutes to reset it and it works
