Default transporting an engine in a civic?

i have a civic coupe and was wondering if anyone has transported a b-series longblock in their civic before? if so, whats the best way to tie it down?

hell yea iive done it many times. shortblock in the trunk, hell i have a transmission in my trunk right now!

just make sure you put stuff around it like peices of wood or somthing so it doesnt move around if you have to make sharp turns.

either take the spare tire out and put it in the back seat and put the engine down in the hole.


or 4 bolts to take the passenger seat out.

Remove the passenger seat and put it there.

I have had a D16y8 + a B16A in my hatch before, minus the trannys =P just throw it in there =P

yeah im sure its easier with a hatch, but are you sure you can put it in the trunk of a coupe? i know taking the passenger seat out is a good way, but i just dont know how to secure it so it doesnt fall

anyone have pics?

take out your passenfer seat and put say a 13 inch tire and set it on the tire and maybe some small wooden blocks to stabalize a little
