Default GM 3 bar connector problem, pigtail notches dont line up

ordered the GM 3 Bar from Stan, it appears the male and female "notches" dont line up. the pigtail wont go into the female end. Im assuming that I can make the correct notches (even though the pigtail has notches, but they are on the top rather than the side?) but I dont want to modify anything yet in case its the wrong sensor. the sensor part number says 12223861. if thats the correct part, then Im sure I can just notch the pigtail. I havent heard back from Stan yet so Im asking here since Im in the garage right now.

I searched for the part number and it appears correct. so I should be able to notch the pigtail and be ok right?

I had a gm 3 bar sensor and i got a pigtail off a car in the junkyard. I had to modify the pigtail to fit. its not a big deal, just cut out the notches where they need to be.

The reason it does not match up is because Stan prefers the Male to Male fitments.

You can modify this with a dremel:

I modified it, no problem. I was more worried about maybe the sensor was wrong or something. I didnt have directions for my OBD2 integra, so I improvised and used RSX S instructions from the hondata site. I think I got it right, if anyone can verify I would appreciate it.

A = white/green
B = green/red
C = yellow/red

?

Nothing them is no problem. AC compressor switches were the same as MAP pigtails aside from having the have the notches cut. I used one before I got a motorolla Map sensor and trimmed it, it was fine.
