what is the size of the filter that are to be used on this intake? are they 3"?

yup

 

i want to run the following setup:

1) password JDM intake
2) Velocity stack, 3" for the piping side, 6" for the filter side, this is the only velocity stack that i could found that can be filtered.

The ITR ABS is much smaller than the ABS unit in the picture.

 

Put on a glove and get your hand in there and sand off all the resin and clumps of carbon along the two seams.

 

so are u guys saying that, it should fit no problem?
