engine is a d15b8 yes i know, so what i was thinking of doing was swaping in headers and IM from a d16z6 which i can get for a good deal the only... thing is will it make my car run a little better or will it do the opposite?will i have to run a diff ecu? or just *** it

learn the concept of commas, PLEASE..

I had to read the first third of the first line like 3x

It will make ur car run A LITTLE better, you won't see a serious HP increase, you shouldn't have to run a diff ECU but somebody needs to clarify that for me as I'm not sure what the D16B8's run as far as the ECU goes

The difference is so small I wouldn't even bother doing it, see, I'm not sure if ur talking about the exhaust manifold, or aftermarket header for a D16Z6, in either case, it'll allow better air flow, but there's a big diff in what they are :-\ The IM is bigger, but like I said, the difference is very very small

You can go for it if you want (pretty sure those parts will fit fine), but only expect like 2 hp max :-\

just so you know, if you swap the intake manifold w/ any other you will need a differant throttle body as well. the cx/vx uses a differant TB than the rest. also, your IM has an EGR, if you swap it you wont have an egr anymore and will throw a code for it. so in the end you will only be doing yourself harm. the only way to do it w/ out a code i know of is use a P06 ecu and wire in the correct o2.
