What are the signs/symtoms of a bad axle?
I'm not sure if its a bad axle or something.. I drive around sometimes and i hear a squeak. Its not on going though. Just once in a while.
What you guys think?

Other than snapping, an axle can go bad if one (or both) of the cv boots rip and the grease leaks out. Thats pretty easy to spot, and you will have great all over the area. Thats your first visual clue.
When an axle starts going bad, you will also hear click-click-click-click when turning, and eventually even when going straight. You don't to get to the point where you hear the clicking when going straight.

Well said. Bad inner joints can also cause vibration on accelleration.

My car vibrates while under load and upon acceleration. So I'm guess its a bad inner joint.
What do I look for around the inner joint. Grease? a rip on the boot?
