Valve Cover, but still. He wants to see the Head and block black too, it seems.
*squints* Oh. I see that block is blak. The Head threw me off.

Well this was my old ITR/GSR Motor setup. When it was finished it was dropped in to the DA I used to own. I sold the car a year ago to a guy in my area. I talk to him every once and a while and as far he tells me, the paint on the whole engine is still holding up very nicely. I used Dupont 500 degree Gloss Black Paint. But I cleaned the block meticulously. I used a the same brand Grey Primer to make sure the paint was even on it. If you have any more questions about it just shoot me an IM.

hell no, as a matter of fact it shows 10x times better since the oil is shiny as hell and it reflects yellow'ish off the black, esp if the black is a flat black like what i use.

I can vouch for this...very easy to spot leaks

Becareful when you paint black motors, if there is any liquid leak it is going to be tougher to spot the leak!!! Ask my boy that blew his motor up becuase he couldnt spot the oil coming from the dowel pins
