Default PROBLEM - Custom Intake Mani - Missing Something........

I have a problem, its with my coolant lines and the iacv and throttle body.

Just to explain, you have a hose the goes form the coolant tube on the back of the block, to the right side of the iacv, out the left side of the iacv and into the back of the t/b, out the front of the t/b and into head. Right?

Theres a pic of where the barb is supposed to be, right above or beside the first runner, its supposed to connect the t/b to the head and complete the circuit, as you can see in the pic, this is a venom sheetmetal square intake manifold made for a d16z6 and Im running it on a d16a6 motor in an 88 crx si obdo

I have no idea how Im supposed to run these lines and keep my idle in check, how do I fix this?

Thanks

w/out an iacv you arent going to keep your idle in check, thats a race designed manifold.

The IACV doesn't need coolant going to it for it to work. To add the IACV you'd need to fab up a thick bracket, and have one of the holes routed to the air, the other to the plenum.

I have an iacv guys, i just drilled the 2 large holes, 2 mounting holes and made a chanel out of hose connecting the left side of the iacv to the t/b

My problem was with missing a barb for coolant return, i capped the line today after the t/b, we will see how it works when i start it
