Window motor and regulator ?
I have a 98 accord ex 2 door, the passanger window goes down fine but when you try to close it it only goes up 1/2 way and it stops, it will go up the rest of the way if you pull on it, I have searched for answers and I think it's the window regulator, my ? is how do I remove the regulator. I took the door panel off but could not see a good way to remove the regulator or motor. thanks for your help
well theres 3 bolts that hold the motor up...i believe its a 10mm socket...once you remove those ur motor is free but you also have to remove the window rail...so take all 4 bolts(2 top, 2 bottom) off and take it off the window...then you slide the motor out of the big hole right next to it...not such a hard process just a lil time consuming..just be patient youll get there
Have you tried using white lithium grease on the window tracks? I'd also check to see if you seal is bunching up or moving a little out of place.
I'm not too far from you, if you want me to take a look at it. I'm in Southeast Houston, I45 & the Beltway.

it rolls up at normal speed half way and then it stops suddenly, and it will go down normally again and stop dead on its track at the same spot when trying to close, also if you don't roll it down past that spot it will go up with no problem.

From the dead...I'm having the exact same problem and ran across this thread in my search. there's no solution listed here though, does anyone have one? Is it the regulator or the track?
for reference...when the window gets halfway up it starts to whine and moan then finally stop. Sounds like old dry rubber stretching or something

I have a 95 accord with similar symptoms. The window rolls up slowly and begins to slow until it stops. The window slides in the track with little resistance when I move it by hand (window disconnected from motor). I feel that in my case the motor is old and needs replacement. I'll do that when I get my super power ability of sh1tting cash.
