5th Gear Grinding
I had a new stage 2 clutch put in and after i broke in the clutch for the first 500 miles I noticed 5th gear grinds. But if I were to step on the clutch pedal two times it won't grind at all. Another thing is when under 50 mph it wont grind as well. Any suggestions or mechanical problems that need to be fixed please let me know i would appreciate it
Now when i bleed it i should waste 2 bottles of brake fluid or more? even though it sounds silly but i know when you bleed an item you have to have sufficient products to do so.
You shouldn't even need a single bottle. Just keep bleeding until the fluid is clear and bubble free. That shouldn't take long since the clutch system needs very little fluid.
My guess is that your fifth gear syncro is worn. When you double-clutch it you match the speed of the engine and layshaft so the syncro doesn't have to. I would get some new MTF in your tranny if you haven't done that in a while. Otherwise, you may need to keep double clutching fifth to prevent destroying the gear entirely. Metal shards are not good for your transmission.
