ok so i just got done removing the indiglos off the guage cluster and i put it back in, next thing that happens is the light for the speedo and all the guages wont go on....then i try to turn it and it doesnt turn over.....i hear this clicking noise and its coming from the abs relay and the resevoir of the abs....the liquid inside is splashin around....

little history on the car.....

bought it from a kid who got it from his brother when someone stole out the original gsr.....he replaced it with a 95 ls motor and did a bunch of crappy mods so im in the works of redoing a lot

also when i turn the key the main req light goes on for a second and so does the srs......and the abs light stays on and so does the brake.......

help me out please

possibly fuses?? try checking under the dash and also under the hood by the battery. Does your radio work? interior lights?

 

radio works, interior lights too

Check your fuses and then go back and check the wiring that he had the indiglos hooked to (it might have been half assed).

 

well i checked all the fuses and they are fine and i know for sure the indiglos were half asses, im sayin i started the car to see if i had all the plugs in and it was right so i put it back into place and now the car isnt starting and those lights are on....the abs and brake and also its got this ticking sound

 

Maybe your starter went bad? I remember my friend with a crx had the same problem. The car wouldn't even turn over.

 

maybe, u know that 12v insert on the abs relay.....thats where the ticking is coming from....maybe i need a new one of those?

how would i definately know its the starter

 

edited...more than likely, if it isnt even turning over...then it is the starter. Could you try and jump start it?

 

tried to jump it and that didnt work, so im assuming its the starter....anymore tests that should pretty much let me know its the starter....also is all 94-01 teg starters the same? even ones on automatics...if they are the local j yards got one

 

i dont know about integras but usually with other cars, automatic and manual starters are different.

 

yea they are different....alright well im sure i will post back up when i get the starter installed
