Default OEM JDM 4-1 or DC Sports JDM 4-1 ?

OEM JDM 4-1 or DC Sports JDM 4-1 ?

Anyone has pics of DC Sports JDM 4-1 on a ITR ?

Will both headers fit on a 60.5mm b-pipe, of course with 2,5" flange on the b-pipe?

Thanks,

Pinota

I believe tomorrow I'm going to order the DC Sports JDM 4-1 for the following reasons:

1. http://www.automotiveperformanceengi...om/header.html
2. http://www.inlinefour.com/dcsporjdm41h1.html

Hope this helps!!

The DC is intriguing due to the price, but I wonder how good the fitment is as comapred to an OEM Honda product, and the weight difference sems pretty different as well.

Can anyone with a DC help out here

as for fitment, i just helped my buddy install a jdm dc 4-1 and test pipe on his itr over the weekend and we didn't have any trouble at all putting it on. the only hard part was getting the oem bastard off. after that, it only took us like 30min to get the header and test pipe all bolted up. fits perfectly!

I've owned both the Oem 4-1 and DC Jdm 4-1 (Ceramic). DC Jdm primaries look a lot bigger and the collector does also since the oe jdm has a 'inner' collector. But anyhow, I sold the DC Jdm because the Oem seems like it can take a beating more than the DC and due to the fact of heatsheilds.

Dc Jdm is lighter, but its not that much too worry about.

Thanks for the info.

Another question, after the primaries, what´s the size of the tube, the larger after the primaries, outside tube.

Thanks.

i have no idea how they cracked, its under the car so i couldn't check it out.. but he said he's going hytech.. (did he bottom out real good.?. but his car is stock height..)

but i've seen so many ceramic DC's that are cracked.. from what i've seen i've grown to learn that DC = cracked.. i think it has to do with the s. california atmosphere(hot & dry).. none of my florida pals have had cracked dc's..

which one sits lower the DC or the JDM?

but hey, the JDM one aint legal either... but then u could hide them w/ the sheilds... i have a DC JDM and i havent had any problems... i have scuffed them because they are too low, but that was in my own carelessness (stock height ITR)... no cracks here and i had them for a year.... (hell i had them installed on 9/11/01, so i'll never forget that day!!!)
