Does anybody know if the motors for window regulators are universal? I have the motors from a four door regulator, but would like to know if it will work for a two door regulator.

For those who are wondering, four door regulators will not fit, two door civics. I tried and had no luck. It looks like it will fit but it won't..... That's why I'm trying to salvage the motors, I got a price quote for $45 for an EX regulator without the motor... But don't want to buy if the motors are not the same....... Anybody?????

 

Nevermind, I went ahead and bought the regulator and bolted up the four door motors. Everything bolted up fine. I should be done with my conversion tomorrow, don't have a camera so can't show pictures. This whole conversion has only cost me $48 got the motors and switches for free from my friends wrecked four door.... All I've paid for is the window regulator...
