Just wondering if anyone in here has the Replica OEM Type R Side skirts?? How's the fitting and Strenght on the skirts? A big junk of my Authentic Type R side skirts broke from crappy streets here in Houston, and I was thinking about just getting one driver side skirt. The passanger side is still good, I just need the Driver side, but anyway any opinion/help welcomed. Thanks


ps. If anyone is selling their skirts or know a place to get them let me know.

 

I think the kit you are refering to is the OEM Underbody Spoiler Kit.

 

if you get one replica, you have to get both sides. They attach to your stock sideskirt.

ehhh....are you sure about that?

 

if i were u.. id get either both real or both replica.. the replicas seem to stick out more, and if u have one real and one replica.. one will be flush while the other will stick out.. i have replicas and they kinda stick out.. which doesnt really bother me, but when i pull up to a teg with a real one.. i get kinda embarrased

They don't look bad at all. Fitment is nice. I am getting a set as soon as I get my JDM front end. That way, they all get painted at the same time.

Go to TI.net, look for user with the username of stoph, he has them. He hangs out in the washington forum alot.

craps....I'm glad I have the OEM ones....

there's just something about that whole "it attaches to your OEM sideskirt" thing I don't like.

 

You can have your stock side skirts painted...

looks just like ITR
