the optional side skirts were an option on integras, it did not come standard on the type r's. type r's came with painted side skirts that matched the body (like in the first pic), but they were not the 'optional' style. there is a long-standing debate that the type r side skirts are a different length than the other integra models, but that is still unproven..

no man.

the oem optional kit did not come standard on the itr. hence the name oem optional

very rare nowadays. if you find real ones, be prepared to pay top dollar.

Type aaaArrrrrr sideskirts are painted respectively to the color of the car that it is on. There is no way that the type-R's side skirt is longer

thats just my .02 cents

Debate? Where? I would like to help out if possible...I have the stock, unpainted, side skirts that were originally on my car sitting in my room, and I have the painted optional OEM side skirts on my car right now.

What measurements do you need? Let's kill this debate right now!

It is longer. There was a thread with pictures and measurements proving it. Post up a clear picture of a regular Integra and then a Type R, you will see. The Type R's skirt goes up flush against the wheel well area. The regular Integra doesn't.

I agree as well...

That type-R looks like my managers...It has black Volk TE37 Wheels now.

Hmmmm maybe a clone?

yeah, the type r just came with paint matched skirts, but in all of the pictures i've seen the type r skirts are about a half inch longer than the regular ones. they line up with the rear wheel well while the rest come up about a half inch short.

i saw the thread too, so i am pretty sure its proven already that the type r skirts are longer than the regular integra sides ^_^ . But gosh i wish i had bought the optional kit back in the day when they still manufactured them.

When I bought my Integra brand new in 99, that ****** at the dealer told me there was no OEM optional underbody spoiler kit..... ******* clown. Then I start seeing them 6 months later. Go into the dealer, ask for price and they say they can't get them. What an ***. for shitty service.
