It spikes with the Tial wastegate for some reason but with the deltagate wastegate it seems to be fine.

i have a drag mani with a knock-off tial gate & had no problems with boost creep.. only problem that someone might run into is if they are running extreamly low boost with a huge turbo & a small wastegate, it wouldn't allow enough exhaust out, therefor causing it to creep coz it would continue to spool the turbo..

hih

I had the drag mani and tial wastegate setup and I didnt have any boost creeps at all...even with a manual boost controller held 10psi fine.My cousin also has the drag mani and deltagate setup no boost spikes for him.

creep and spike are two different things. i was always under the impression that the drag mani was more prone to spiking due to wastegate placement. i never really heard of any creeping issues.

even the rumors of spiking have kind of been disproved for me too, there are so many people that actually run the manifold and have no problems. not saying it never happens or that its a good design, i just think people automatically write off the drag mani due to wastegate location.

I've never had a problem with spike or creep with my drag manifold and a tial 38mm wg.

I woudl recommend porting the WG opening out to the size of your WG gasket, if it's bigger than 35mm. the stock mani comes with a 35mm and if you run a 38mm it needs to be opened up to 38mm gasket.

if the stock DRAG manifold is made for 35mm and you get like a tial at 38mm are you required to have it ported to 38mm??

or it wouldn't matter??

yes you will need to port it out, or there's no point in having a 38mm.
